Marie Sussland
Violin, Viola

Marie has been teaching at Linton-Milano since 1994. She has a Doctorate from the Academy in Prague, Czech republic, and a Masters degree from the Brno Conservatory . She specialized in Moravian composers, such as Leos Janacek. She played in opera orchestras, film orchestras, symphony orchestra and various chamber ensembles.

Marie immigrated from the Czech Republic in 1980 and has been teaching and playing in various ensembles in the Valley since then.

Richard Wall
Piano, Voice, Violin, Viola, Theory and Composition

Richard has a Bachelor’s of Fine Arts in Music Theory and Composition, with a theory emphasis, from ASU. He studied piano with Dr. John Metz, Dr. Hamilton Tescalaro, group piano with Dr. Caio Pagano, and theory with Dr. Ellon Carpenter. His undergraduate thesis was entitled: “Tonal progression and retrogression in Gustav Mahler’s Das Lied von Der Erde, “Der Abschied.” Richard is also a DJ with a former residency with La Rogue at Barcelonas in Scottsdale. He has maintained over 60 students for the past 5 years.

Richard is now doing professional recordings - a great idea for the holidays or for keepsake recordings!

Eric Cousineau
Violin

Eric Cousineau has over 22 years of violin performance experience. He has played in ensembles ranging from orchestral to chamber to local bands and to solo performance. Eric also has experience providing session work at various recording studios around town. He currently plays with the Chandler Symphony Orchestra and is pursuing a degree in music theory.

As an instructor Eric will share his admiration for the sonic possibilities of the instrument and cultivate in his students the necessary abilities to set and achieve their own musical goals.

Amy L. Huzjak
Cello

Huzjak

A student of cello since age 11, Amy is currently at Arizona State University pursuing a bachelors degree in Music Performance, with an anticipated graduation in May 2009. Amy has primarily studied with Thomas Landschoot, on faculty at ASU, and has performed in master classes with other cellist such as Joel Krosnick, Daniel Levitov, and Scott Kluksdahl. Amy is an active member of the ASU Symphony and ASU Chamber Orchestra and has served as principal of the Chamber Orchestra. Amy is also an active chamber musician with the ASU String Quartet program, working with quartets including the Julliard String Quartet, Brentano String Quartet, and the Toyko String Quartet. Amy has performed two full solo recitals at ASU with two more scheduled for the 2008-2009 school year. Amy also has participated in summer music festivals including the Killington Music Festival in summer 2008.

Rachel Noble
Voice, Piano, Cello

Emily Williams

Rachel has a Bachelor's of Interdisciplinary Studies in Music and English Literature from ASU, and teaches piano, cello, and voice.  She is currently working on her certification as an orchestra teacher while employed as a substitute for the Mesa and Gilbert Public School districts.  She has also participated in a variety of ensembles, ranging from piano accompanist for musicals, choirs and soloists, orchestral and string quartet work, and arrangements for choir and vocal quartet performances.

Rachel places high value in the musical learning process, and delights in helping to guide her students' progress.  Her teaching technique depends on the individual students' needs, but always with a heavy emphasis on music theory and quality of interpretation.

Diana Noble
Piano, Voice, Violin

Diana has been teaching for over 18 years. She teaches, voice, violin, and piano. She is well-versed and has performed in many venues. Her experience includes opera, broadway musicals, live bands, studio recording, orchestras, ensembles, etc.

Patience and precision are her strengths in teaching. She works exceptionally well with youth and enjoys the creative learning process of teaching one-on-one. She is currently finishing her BA in music education.
