Linton-Milano
Music Center is Arizona's largest in-store music studio. Our instructors
are professional, experienced and caring. All of our teachers
are screened, not only for their professional merits, but also
for their personality, ability to relate to different age groups,
styles of music, and how they would handle certain teaching challenges.
Our teachers have proven themselves able to relate to, inspire
and challenge their students.
What
makes our instructors so special? Most of them have years of experience
teaching as well as playing their own instruments. They are involved
in other musical endeavors, i.e. teaching at schools, colleges,
universities, or gigging/performing. Our teachers are full-time
professional musicians that make their livings in music. They
are not hobbyists.
Many
of our teachers specialize in specific styles of music, a great
bonus when students are looking for a particular type of lesson.
The quantity and variety of students that are taught here is equaled
nowhere else in the Valley.
There
are many advantages to taking lessons in a studio. Our lessons
take place in a private, professional, focused environment. There
are no distracting phone calls, no children crying or wanting
attention, no smells of food cooking, or any of the myriad interruptions
that can happen in home environments. Without the distractions,
the parents can sit in on lessons and focus on their child. The
professional setting creates a positive structured atmosphere.
When
students take lessons here, the teachers are constantly supervised
by our staff, both for the safety of the students and for the
safety of the teachers. That is why we have windows in each studio
door so parents and the staff can observe without interfering
with the lesson.
With
our sheet music department at hand, teachers can keep abreast
of new publications that will motivate and educate their students.
The teacher can often go through the selections with their student
and help choose music they would like to play.

Linton-Milano Music has been in business over
60 years. The founders were successful music educators. Having
been in the business for so many years, we have seen which methods
and trends are successful and most beneficial to the students.
We have students whose parents and grandparents have become successful
musicians at Linton-Milano Music.
We offer consistency, excellent instructors,
private rooms, and recitals. We hold an Annual Awards Music Festival
which motivates students and teaches them how to perform in an
atmosphere where they are judged. We are the only studio to offer
this to our students.
At Linton-Milano Music, we have all your music
needs under one roof - lessons, sheet music, instrument supplies,
sales and rentals. We are centrally located and easy to get to.
